The Department of Stationery and Printing, Government of Tamil Nadu, has announced a Special Recruitment Drive to fill backlog vacancies for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates. Eligible candidates can apply for the Junior Binder posts before the last date.

• Post Name: Junior Binder

• Pay Scale: ₹19,500 – ₹71,900 (Level-8)

• Total Vacancies: 05

🔹 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have:

• SSLC Pass (or equivalent) and any one of the following:

  1. Trade Certificate in Book Binding from a Government-recognized institute

  2. Completed Apprenticeship in Book Binding under the Apprentices Act, 1961

  3. Diploma in Printing Technology

Special Condition for Visually Impaired:

• Trade Certificate in Book Binding from Government ITC for Blind, Poonamallee, Chennai

Age Limit (as on 01.07.2025):

• Minimum: 18 years

• Maximum: 37 years (as per government norms)

• Age relaxation applicable as per rules

• Higher qualifications will not alter the maximum age limit

1. Download and fill the application form in the prescribed format.

2. Attach self-attested copies of the following:

   • Educational certificates

   • Caste/community certificate

   • Birth certificate / Age proof

   • Address proof

   • Any other relevant documents

3. Affix a recent passport-size photograph, signed by the applicant.
